Welcome to the Triangle Area Telugu Association.
We are a non-profit organization with a mission to build a vibrant Telugu community and promote
Telugu Culture and language in the Triangle Area of North Carolina.
The Triangle area encompasses the general metro region that includes Raleigh,
Durham and Chapel Hill cities.
The Triangle region is known for its mix of High Tech, Medical and Bio Tech industry.
It is also home to World class educational institutions.
A well assimilated and active Indian diaspora has made the Triangle region their home.
The Telugu population of the Triangle area is estimated to be about 1000 families.
So here it is, a web site dedicated to the Telugu community of the Triangle Area.
As befits a site that is dedicated to the Telugu community, we will strive to
keep this site as an information repository that is of interest to the local
Telugu community.
